Threshold Fairlead
Patent-pending protocol technology for delivering structured payloads across constrained communication environments.
Overview
Fairlead addresses a transport-layer problem in environments where bandwidth is constrained, links are subject to interruption, and transfer cost per bit is high. It changes how structured payloads become usable at the receiving end.
The protocol is designed for AI model delivery, structured data products, and operational payloads in domains where conventional all-or-nothing transfer creates avoidable latency, waste, or operational delay.
Target environments
Space-based AI infrastructure. Edge and robotic systems with constrained connectivity. Any scenario where a structured payload must cross a link that is bandwidth-limited, intermittent, or expensive, and the receiver would benefit from earlier access to the payload's content.
Detailed application briefs, technical architecture, and benchmark methodology are available under NDA for qualified evaluation partners, programme assessors, and prospective customers.
Intellectual property
European patent application filed in 2026 via FRKelly (Dublin).
Public materials describe the protocol at a high level while patent prosecution is ongoing. Technical and commercial detail beyond what appears on this page is shared under appropriate confidentiality with evaluation partners and programme assessors.
Current status
Reference implementation and benchmark harness in development. The company is seeking first evaluation partnerships and feasibility engagements in its target domains.
